Basketball Recap: Medford Takes a Loss

Medford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 65-55 to the Revere Patriots. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 71-61.

Medford's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Revere, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Medford will welcome Lynn Classical at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lynn Classical will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Medford surely won't give up without a fight. As for Revere, they will venture away from home to face off against Malden at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Revere is facing Malden at the right time seeing as Malden is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
