The Lutheran Northwest Crusaders will challenge the Millington Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Lutheran Northwest is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 42-14 victory over Detroit Community. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crusaders.

Raymond Losier had a dynamite game, rushing for 112 yards and four TDs on only seven carries. Those 112 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Conner Lemke got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Lutheran Northwest was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 226 rushing yards. They are a perfect 6-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Lutheran Northwest didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Lemke, Josiah Kouba, and Jonah Breithaupt picked up one apiece. Lemke got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, while Millington put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Bendle. The Cardinals breezed past the Tigers to the tune of 49-0. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Tigers are ranked 416th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lutheran Northwest's record is now 6-4. As for Millington, their record now sits at 9-1.
