Basketball Recap: 12 Straight Home Wins for University of Detroit Jesuit

University of Detroit Jesuit won against Catholic Central on Saturday with 65 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The University of Detroit Jesuit Cubs beat the Central Trail Blazers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 65-55. Given the Cubs' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked first, while the Trail Blazers are ranked 153rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

University of Detroit Jesuit pushed their record up to 21-1 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-12.

Looking ahead, University of Detroit Jesuit will face off against De La Salle Collegiate at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central, they will take on Renaissance at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Renaissance's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
