Soccer Game Preview: Cerritos vs. Bellflower

Cerritos is 0-9-1 against Bellflower since January of 2015 but things could change on Monday. The Cerritos Dons will head out to square off against the Bellflower Buccaneers at 5:00 p.m. Cerritos' last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Cerritos is headed into the contest without a loss and will look to keep things rolling. They and North finished up their game with a 2-2 draw on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Bellflower was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Norwalk, falling 4-0. That's two games in a row now that the Buccaneers have lost by exactly four goals.

With that draw, Cerritos' record moves to 3-0-2. As for Bellflower, they now have a losing record at 2-3-2.

Cerritos might still be hurting after the 4-1 loss they got from Bellflower in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Cerritos was down 3-0.
