Softball Recap: LeFlore Rattlers vs. Gulf Shores Dolphins
LeFlore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They wound up on the wrong side of a tough 15-0 walloping at the hands of the Gulf Shores Dolphins. The result was an unpleasant reminder to LeFlore of the 22-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on Tuesday.
For Gulf Shores' part, they got a massive performance out of Chloe Stewart, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and a triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameryn Nowlin, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
LeFlore's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Gulf Shores, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 26-6-1.
