Basketball Recap: Clifton Comes Up Short

Clifton lost against Wayne Valley back in January of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Clifton Mustangs took a 42-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wayne Valley Indians. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clifton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Wayne Valley, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Clifton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fort Lee on January 2, 2025. Wayne Valley and Caldwell will compete for holiday cheer at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
