Volleyball Recap: Makalya Aragon's Big Game Can't Quite Lead John F. Kennedy over Navarro

John F. Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Navarro Panthers.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Navarro scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-17, 18-25, 25-22.

John F. Kennedy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Makalya Aragon, who had 18 digs and four aces. Another player making a difference was Mia Briseno, who had 18 digs and two aces.

John F. Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 14-17. As for Navarro, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-15 record this season.
