Basketball Recap: Fort Madison Sets Scoring Season-High Against Washington

There's no place like home for Fort Madison, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 90-87 victory over the Washington Demons on Friday. The Bloodhounds' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Fort Madison now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Washington, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-10.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Mt. Vernon the next time they take the court. Fort Madison will host Mt. Vernon at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Washington will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on February 18th.
