Leo won the last time they faced New Haven and things went their way on Saturday too. The Lions walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bulldogs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Leo easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14.

Emersyn Weaver paced Leo's offense, picking up seven kills. Weaver got some help from Mia Norris and her eight assists. Isabella Hensley controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Leo's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for New Haven, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-16.

Leo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Pioneer on the 20th. As for New Haven, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Fort Wayne Snider on the 20th.
