Callaway can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They skirted past the Canton Tigers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Chargers have posted since September 19, 2024.

Callaway's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 5-9. As for Canton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Callaway is set to challenge their familiar foe Warren Central at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Canton will take on rival Greenville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
