Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pikeville). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the East Ridge Warriors 77-13. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 85th, while the Warriors are ranked 206th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pikeville picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 5-7. As for East Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.

Pikeville has already played their next match (against Martin County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. East Ridge will face off against Tug Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tug Valley will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something East Ridge surely won't give up without a fight.
