It was a good run, but St. Cloud unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Centennial Eagles by a score of 3-2. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

St. Cloud's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Centennial, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

St. Cloud and Centennial should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. St. Cloud will face off against The First Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday up 240 places (77 vs. 317). Meanwhile, Centennial (ranked 43rd) will meet Melbourne (ranked 174th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
