Volleyball Game Preview: Whitefield Academy Lions vs. Heritage Christian Eagles

The Whitefield Academy Lions will head out to take on the Heritage Christian Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Whitefield Academy came up short against New Hope Christian and fell 3-1. While the Lions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Phoenix 25-15 in the first set.

Whitefield Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-21, 25-17, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Heritage Christian got the win against New Hope Christian on Monday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

The match finished with set scores of 25-3, 25-4, 25-16.

Whitefield Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Heritage Christian, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Whitefield Academy suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Heritage Christian when the teams last played back in October of 2023. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
