Soccer Game Preview: Hanford vs. Kamiakin

The Hanford Falcons will face off against the Kamiakin Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Tuesday, Hanford didn't have quite enough to beat Chiawana and fell 2-1. While losing is never fun, Hanford can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 105th, while Chiawana are ranked third).

Meanwhile, Kamiakin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 5-1 to Walla Walla. Kamiakin were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Hanford's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Kamiakin, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Hanford beat Kamiakin 4-2 in their previous meeting back in March. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Braves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
