You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Albany's strategy against Stamford on Saturday. The Albany Lions strolled past the Stamford Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 55-39. The victory was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on three straight.

Albany's win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Albany will take on Windthorst in a tournament on Friday. As for Stamford, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Haskell at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
