Volleyball Recap: Wilmington Comes Up Short

Wilmington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Waltham Hawks.

Wilmington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Waltham, their win bumped their record up to 3-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Wilmington will venture away from home to face off against Watertown at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Waltham, they will square off against Lincoln-Sudbury at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight.
