Volleyball Recap: Swain County Comes Up Short

Swain County had taken Andrews down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Maroon Devils fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-2. The Maroon Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Swain County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Andrews, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Swain County has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Murphy on the 11th. Andrews has also already played their next contest (against Hayesville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
