Basketball Game Preview: St. Joseph Academy Crusaders vs. Army-Navy Warriors

The St. Joseph Academy Crusaders are taking a road trip to square off against the Army-Navy Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Joseph Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.9 points per game this season.

St. Joseph Academy is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 85-33 loss at the hands of Tri-City Christian. The Crusaders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-15.

Despite the defeat, St. Joseph Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Brewster Gale went 5 for 12 on his way to 12 points.

Meanwhile, Army-Navy didn't have too much trouble with Escondido Charter on Tuesday as they won 44-28. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Army-Navy has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points per game. As for St. Joseph Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-13.

St. Joseph Academy suffered a grim 68-47 defeat to Army-Navy in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can St. Joseph Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
