While Iola's win against Milano wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs skirted past the Eagles 11-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since April 11, 2025.
Shaylee McKown made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and five unearned) runs off nine hits. McKown was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base.
