Schalick is still undefeated this season after their contest against Overbrook on Thursday, but Overbrook came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Cougars came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Rams. Those three runs were actually the fewest the Cougars have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Schalick's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Enrico Hatz, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Hatz also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Another was Lucas D'Agostino, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Schalick's record is now 5-0. As for Overbrook, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Schalick will take on Gloucester City on Saturday. As for Overbrook, they will square off against Delsea at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Crusaders will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight.
