Basketball Game Preview: Indian Rocks Christian Eagles vs. Bayshore Christian Faith Warriors

The Indian Rocks Christian Eagles will challenge the Bayshore Christian Faith Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Indian Rocks Christian will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Canterbury, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. Indian Rocks Christian enjoyed a cozy 52-36 victory over Canterbury on Tuesday. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 302nd, while the Crusaders are ranked 658th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bayshore Christian). They breezed by The Classical Academy of Sarasota to the tune of 70-40 on Thursday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Faith Warriors with their most commanding win of the season.

Indian Rocks Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Bayshore Christian, they moved to 5-7 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Indian Rocks Christian took their victory against Bayshore Christian when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 68-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Indian Rocks Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
