Football Game Preview: Crean Lutheran vs. Saddleback Valley Christian

Crean Lutheran will be defending their home turf for the first time on Thursday when they go up against Saddleback Valley Christian in at Portola HS at 7:00 PM. Crean Lutheran has the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.

Everything went their way against Temecula Prep last Friday as the team secured a 40-0 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 24-0.

Saddleback Valley Christian came within a touchdown against Northwood last week, but wound up with a 8-21 loss.

Crean Lutheran's lifted them to 2-0 while Saddleback Valley Christian's loss dropped them down to 0-2. Crean Lutheran's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Saddleback Valley Christian defensive front that amassed 5 sacks against Northwood.
