Baseball Recap: Laurel Spartans vs. Wise Pumas

Laurel came out on top against Wise on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fourth inning. The Spartans put the hurt on the Pumas with a sharp 11-1 win. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Pumas recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Aiden Lee made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out 13 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Those 13 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, earning two runs and two stolen bases. Those runs were his first of the season.
