Soccer Recap: Derby Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Derby lost against Naugatuck back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Raiders lost 7-0 to the Greyhounds. While losing is never fun, Derby can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings (they are ranked 86th, while Naugatuck are ranked fifth).

Derby's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Naugatuck, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0-1.

Coming up, Derby will venture away from home to face off against Amistad at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Naugatuck, they will host Wolcott at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
