Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hillcrest). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Hueytown Golden Gophers 48-14 at home. The win was some much needed relief for the Patriots as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Leading Hillcrest to victory were Bryson Kimbrough and Christian Richey. Kimbrough gained 253 total yards and two touchdowns, while Richey gained 138 total yards and three touchdowns. Richey also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Hillcrest is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Hillcrest was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 277 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 152 rushing yards in six consecutive games.
