Flint Hill hadn't beaten Collegiate on the road since March 21, 2017 but that history sure didn't bother them  on Saturday. The Flint Hill Huskies walked away with  a   10-6  victory over the Collegiate Cougars. This was a revenge game for the Huskies: when they faced off against the Cougars  on Saturday, they had to take a  8-6  defeat.
Flint Hill got a great performance from  Michael Morgan as he  tossed 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off   seven  hits. Morgan has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Sebastian Gratacos, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-4.  Aidan Ryan was another key player,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3.
Flint Hill is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record  this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.4 runs over those games. Collegiate's loss  ended  a  nine-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 1-1.
 Coincidentally, Flint Hill and Collegiate will both be playing Highland the next time they take the field. Flint Hill will head out to face Highland at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday, while Collegiate will head out to face them  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
