Softball Recap: Robinson Takes a Loss

Robinson lost against Plant back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Knights fell 13-9 to the Panthers. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Romana 'Romy' Caputo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Dalia 'Mae' Campbell, who went 1-for-4 with four RBI and one double.

Robinson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Plant, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Robinson will welcome Tampa Bay Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Titans have averaged an impressive 15.2 runs per game this season. As for Plant, they are taking a road trip to square off against Durant at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
