Basketball Recap: Sparks Comes Up Short

Sparks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They were beaten by the Wooster Colts 59-24. The Railroaders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-11.

Sparks' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eli Flores, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Symon Soloman, who had six points.

Sparks' loss dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Wooster, their win bumped their record up to 9-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sparks will head out to face off against South Tahoe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Wooster, they will head out on the road to challenge North Valleys at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
