Ben Mitchell put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in May of 2024 on Tuesday. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Mitchell's strong effort led Harvest Christian Academy over Westminster Christian and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions are 9-1 against the Warriors going back to April of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
