Basketball Game Preview: Skiatook Bulldogs vs. Central Braves

The Skiatook Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Central Braves at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Tuesday, Skiatook ended up a good deal behind Vinita and lost 52-38.

Meanwhile, Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by McLain Science & Tech 65-11.

Skiatook has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 0-15.

Skiatook was able to grind out a solid victory over Central in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 52-39. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Central's Montay Davis, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten boards.
