Basketball Recap: Belmond-Klemme Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Belmond-Klemme lost against Bishop Garrigan back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Belmond-Klemme Broncos came up short against the Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears, falling 68-46. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while the Golden Bears are ranked 34th).

Belmond-Klemme's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-5. As for Bishop Garrigan, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-2.

Belmond-Klemme will take on Lake Mills at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Garrigan has already played their next matchup (against Newman Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
