The home team had won the previous five meetings between Mankato East and Albert Lea, and Mankato East kept the tradition alive. The Cougars walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tigers on Saturday. The Cougars were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Tigers, so the Cougars were just returning the favor.
