South Sumner [Caldwell/South Haven] had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.6 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Monday. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Flinthills Mustangs. Those six runs were actually the fewest the Outlaws have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

South Sumner [Caldwell/South Haven]'s win was truly a team effort as eight different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Rahlee Colwell, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

South Sumner [Caldwell/South Haven] pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.4 runs over those games. As for Flinthills, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
