Basketball Recap: South Barber's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

South Barber's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 47-39 victory over the Waynoka Railroaders. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Chieftains as it put an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

South Barber's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Waynoka, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

South Barber wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 47-40 win against Covington-Douglas on the 14th. Waynoka will take on Kremlin-Hillsdale in a holiday battle at at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
