Box Elder waltzed into their match on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the West Field Longhorns. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in March.

Isaac Laing paced Box Elder's offense, picking up 11 kills. Laing got some help from Dallin McKee and his 18 assists.

Box Elder's win bumped their record up to 16-2. As for West Field, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Box Elder has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Hillcrest on the 25th. As for West Field, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Farmington on the 25th.
