Soccer Recap: Bishop McGuinness Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Bishop McGuinness's offense. They fell just short of the Bixby Spartans by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. The Fighting Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bishop McGuinness now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Bixby, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop McGuinness will square off against Eisenhower at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop McGuinness' last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Bixby, they will challenge Bishop Kelley at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
