League recap: Blair Oaks extends winning streak with victory over Versailles

Blair Oaks added to the longest winning streak in Tri-County this week by beating Versailles, 61-26. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Falcons.

Warsaw fell to California 64-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Skyler Creed was a passing and rushing force as Hallsville defeated Osage. Creed's key target this week was Gabe Sheffield, who caught 3 passes for 67 yards.

Creed was a beast in the backfield as the Indians beat the Indians.

Sheffield was the best receiver in the league this week as Hallsville bested Osage. Sheffield tallied 3 receptions for 67 yards. Gabe Breuer helped Hallsville's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 43 yards.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Dan Henderson's team's AUSTIN RILEY and DYLAN JEFFRIES have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-10 quarterback RILEY has thrown for 1,531 yards this season, while JEFFRIES has 50 catches for 677 yards. Devin Johnson's team's Creed leads the league in rushing yards with 910.

Creed of the the Indians is just 90 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Creed has rushed for 910 yards on 127 carries so far this year.

A big matchup in Tri-County this week will be when Blair Oaks takes on Eldon. At the moment, Brad Drehle's team is in second, while the Mustangs are in third.

The Pintos led the league in scoring this week by notching 64 points on the Wildcats.
