The Jackson Polar Bears are taking a road trip to challenge the Medina Battling Bees at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

As a matter of fact, Jackson put up the most goals they have all season on Wednesday. They put the hurt on McKinley with a sharp 10-0 win. Given Jackson's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 61st, while McKinley are ranked 427th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Medina put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their undefeated season alive. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against Brunswick.

Jackson's victory bumped their record up to 8-6-1. As for Medina, their win bumped their record up to 12-0-2.

Jackson came out on top in a nail-biter against Medina in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Polar Bears since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
