West Rusk has no trouble against New Summerfield

Recap: West Rusk Raiders vs. New Summerfield Hornets
The West Rusk Raiders had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past New Summerfield 47-24. This was payback for West Rusk, who suffered a 44-42 loss the last time these two teams met.
Among those leading the charge was Darren Nix, who scored 13 points along with 6 steals. Noah Murphy was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
West Rusk's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for New Summerfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.
West Rusk will square off against Chireno at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Summerfield, they will head out on the road to face off against All Saints Episcopal at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully All Saints Episcopal focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Saturday.
