Soccer Game Preview: Rehoboth Christian vs. Bosque

Rehoboth Christian hasn't had much luck against Bosque recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Lynx will be playing at home against the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. Rehoboth Christian will be strutting in after a win while Bosque will be coming in after a defeat.

Rehoboth Christian took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Navajo Prep a 2-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Rehoboth Christian were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Bosque faced Cottonwood Classical Prep in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Bobcats fell just short of the Coyotes by a score of 2-1. Bosque have struggled against Cottonwood Classical Prep recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Bosque's goal came courtesy of Rose Candelaria, who's now up to 17 this season.

Bosque's loss dropped their record down to 8-5-1. As for Rehoboth Christian, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
