Basketball Recap: Aberdeen Comes Up Short

Aberdeen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 65-46 to the Raft River Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 114th, while the Trojans are ranked 27th).

Aberdeen's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Raft River, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Aberdeen Tigers challenge the Soda Springs Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Raft River, they will head out to challenge Hagerman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Raft River knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Hagerman likes a good challenge.
