Basketball Recap: High Island Takes a Loss

High Island managed to slip by Deweyville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cardinals were dealt a 66-18 loss at the hands of the Pirates on Saturday. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

High Island's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Deweyville, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

High Island didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-22 loss against Danbury on the 9th. As for Deweyville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 70-40 defeat against Alvord on the 6th.
