Baseball Recap: Wilson Triumphs

Wilson extended their postseason success on Thursday against South Oak Cliff. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Golden Bears. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Golden Bears: they've now won eight in a row.

Bradley Macdonald made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Eli Segrest was incredible, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March.

Wilson's record is now 19-7-1. As for South Oak Cliff, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-10-3.

As of now, neither Wilson nor the Golden Bears have any future games scheduled.
