On Monday, Oak Ridge faced Sevier County in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Oak Ridge Wildcats took down the Sevier County Smoky Bears 64-48. The win was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won 15 matchups in a row.

Oak Ridge's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.8 points over those games. As for Sevier County, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-6.
