Basketball Recap: Warren Central Takes a Loss

Warren Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Barren County Trojans, falling 55-14. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dragons of the 73-12 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2025.

Warren Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10-1. As for Barren County, their win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1.

Looking ahead, Warren Central will square off against South Warren at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Barren County, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Glasgow at 6:00 p.m. The Trojans will be up against the Scotties' rather soft defense (which has allowed 57.62 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
