Flag Football Game Preview: Howard Huskies vs. Westside Seminoles + How To Watch

The Howard Huskies will square off against the Westside Seminoles at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Howard hasn't scored more than 13 points for 11 games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

On Monday, Howard needed a bit of extra time to put away Rutland. They snuck past the Hurricanes with a 12-6 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Huskies as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Howard's defense and their three sacks. In that department, Cheyann Clark was the leader with two.

Meanwhile, it was a classic East v. West duel when Westside faced off against Northeast on Monday. The Seminoles took their contest with ease, bagging a 34-2 victory over the Raiders. Considering the Seminoles have won six matchups by more than 20 points this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Westside's win came from a few key players Howard will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Taylor Talton, who threw for 140 yards and three touchdowns on only nine passes. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in passer rating (149.3). Westside's leading receiver Dominique Billue was Talton's top target yet again, picking up 62 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Howard's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Westside, their victory bumped their record up to 15-0.
