Softball Recap: Fort Wayne South Side Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Fort Wayne South Side had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 15-1 to the West Noble Chargers on Thursday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Fort Wayne South Side saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Delayna Cartwright, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

West Noble's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Coming up, Fort Wayne South Side will challenge Marion at 10:00 a.m. on the 19th. As for West Noble, they have already played their next matchup, a 17-6 win against LaVille on the 12th.
