Soccer Game Preview: Carolina International vs. Cherryville

The Carolina International Comets will head out on the road to face off against the Cherryville Ironmen at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Carolina International fell victim to Bradford Prep and their airtight defense last Monday. They came up short against the Bears, falling 9-0. That's two games in a row now that the Comets have lost by exactly nine goals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Cherryville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past North Gaston 6-3 on Thursday. Considering the Ironmen's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Cherryville's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Carolina International, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
