Soccer Recap: Wayside: Sci-Tech Takes a Loss

Wayside: Sci-Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 5-0 to IDEA Montopolis. Considering the last time the Ravens couldn't score was back in January, the team can't take the result too hard.

Wayside: Sci-Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for IDEA Montopolis, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Looking ahead, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Wayside: Sci-Tech face off against the KIPP Austin Brave at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. As for IDEA Montopolis, they are taking a road trip to challenge Harmony School Of Excellence-Austin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. IDEA Montopolis knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Harmony School Of Excellence-Austin likes a good challenge.
