It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Sleepy Hollow had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They came out on top against the Westlake Wildcats by a score of 27-14. The victory was familiar territory for the Horsemen, who have now won eight matchups in a row.
Brayden Richardson had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 161 yards and two scores while picking up 8.5 yards per carry, and also picking up 30 receiving yards and one touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 110 rushing yards. Jeremiah Bowen was another key player, throwing for 123 yards and a pair of TDs.
Sleepy Hollow's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Westlake, they moved to 8-2 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.
As of now, neither Sleepy Hollow nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
